i agree, all along i thought jeremy saw shuli as his mother. i hope this was a translation issue pls pls （/TДT)/
in the first and in a little bit of the second timeline, he had romantic feelings for her, Jeremy just didn’t act on them in either timeline bc it would spark scandalous rumors and such. Nora helped him realize that his feelings towards Shuli changed since the trial in the second timeline, so no Jeremy won’t be endgame. Plus Shuli always saw him as her son. After the trial and his path towards her he eventually lost his feelings for her, the translation is right but this point of the story doesn’t explain why he feels this way until later.
I really don't want the relationship between Jeremy and shuli to be romantic, all this time I've just seen it as Jeremy loving her as a guardian who sacrificed alot for them and shuli loving him back as a son or at the very least a younger brother ಥ‿ಥಥ‿ಥ
