And since she really isn’t pregnant she needs a reason to get rid of the ‘baby’. And fl is the perfect scapegoat because the trashy duke still isn’t letting her go. Mainly because she is a useful aide not because of affection.
From what I've gathered, Sisly is faking the pregnancy (referencing the whole magic necklace thing), so I bet she'll pretend to lose the baby due to complications... And going by his personality, Mr. Jerkwad will find some illogical reasoning to blame the FL.
