Nah... there just people like that. as for me, as someone in their 20s, everytime i look at college students though 18 plus, I still fell like looking at kids, I have high tolerance towards kids so being conscious of age gaps is really thing we kinda overthink sometimes. the feeling when i was a freshman in highschool, you were still gogogaga-ing, at that time i would probably treat you like a son or something
No no, the 28 yr old was saying that he was in grade school when the little kid was born hence there’s no possible way for him to be the father. The little kid looks 5-8 yrs old max, however grade school is from ages 5-11 yrs old so that doesn’t make sense because then the little kid would have to be between 17-23 yrs old for the 28 yr old to have been in grade school when the kid was born.
maybe i'm wrong but i thought grade school could mean middle school (or like 7-8 grade whatever that is), which would mean MC was around 13-14 when the twerp was born, and now as MC is 28 the kid is 13-14ish years old. and i heard that koreans count the pregnancy period as part of your age, so MC is rlly 27 and the kid is like 12-13. and like i can get behind that age with a kid from a rural, middle-of-nowhere village town acting the way he does. i googled grade school's meaning, and apparently it's usually used the way you interpreted it, but it's also possible for someone to mean up to 8th grade while using it. i think the TL for this just used grade school when 'elementary school' would be a better translation ? or maybe the author is just messing around idk LOL
Maybe its just some country school system where i live 3rd year of highschool formally called 12 grade ( i think its because they want to people finish their whole education ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭) so what he mean grade school could be from elementary school to highschool the child probably like 8-9 years old, translator error sometimes happen i mean they originally talk korean right
OK SO I THINK I GET IT NOW.
So MC probably inlisted in the korean army when he turned 19 or 20(min age is 18 to enlist). Chapter one says he stayed for 3 years. Then he probably got transferred overseas for some reason and stayed for 5 years total.
Idk how old the other kid is from the village but it's probably translation error or the kid is in middle school
I never got to reading this properly but tbh, kids age so wildly these days. My 12 year old brother still looks like he should be in 6th grade but he's going to 8th grade next month. I have a cousin same age as him who looks like he could be 14-15. Kid is so tall. His voice gives it away he's still a preteen.
Honestly the kid from the manwha is probably 12 or 13 years old. Anime art style doesn't help much to accurately depict age.
Why’s he acting like 28 is a teenager and that 36 is ancient. Considering buddy said that he would have been in grade school when that 5-8 yr old was born, doesn’t that make him younger than 28? I feel like the written ages don’t match or maybe I read wrong, but also buddy number two said 8 yr age gap so they do also match. Maybe that child is older than he looks, but still doesn’t make sense since grade school is 5-11 yrs of age so the child has to be above 17 yrs old but is obviously not. Why tf am I doing math under a BL post, feel free to dislike or clarify bc I feel stupid.
