I haven't read all the spoilers(they're a bit all over the place and I don't have time to read them right now) so I can't say any detail with 100% certainty.
From what I remember, in the end Chunyoung still loves Dani. It is implied to be still one sided even when she started dating Jiho in the end. he never confessed directly bc he wants to do it when she loves him back. He didn't want to be rejected. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ Also in the finale when Dani disappeared he's one the people that didn't remember her so when Jiho remember instead we can assume Chunyoung's love wasn't strong enough and his fear (being rejected) sabotaged his chance of winning her love.
Sad fact: the author never planned for the others to remember Dani at all. But they did an alternative end where they all remember because the fans were heavily disappointed with the ending that no one remembers Dani except Jiho. I mean after 500+ chapters of her building bonds with these chara. I think it's understandable.

I just visited for a while but I think I'm going to drop this. All chapters of building friendship only for them to forget her except her one true love? The plot is overused and unnecessary here. I don't care if she ends up with Jiho but her friendship are literally also her family. And you're saying her ultimate girl bestfriend also forgot her. Nah this angst ain't for me. Now I get why the novel's rating is so low.
Yeah... Consider that webtoon was like 300-400 chapter long... Fun fact Korean readers were so angry and disappointed they started telling online the story was not worth it and discouraging other readers to not read the novel because of the ending. In the end the author decided to publish an alternative ending where everyone remember Dani because people dropping her story which doesn't look well for her financially and likely will discourage readers from buying the chapters (usually when a webnovel finished it become completely pay to read)
I dropped this long ago. I read the latest chapter dani and her besfriend brother are together???, I thought she ended up the white hair boy??
