Well, I think both are based on the infamous real-life Stanford prison experiment conducted by P. Zimbardo. And I really hate when manga takes real-life tragedy and sexualizes it like this. Like, I am for letting trashy fantasy be trashy fantasy, but things like this work are just different level of unethical.
I think this is based off on that movie.... a social experiment where people were made prisoner or guards.... i believe the mc went mad and a lot of people died
