I don’t think he’s slept with her either I think it’s more of him keeping her around because she reminds him of his mother and how he would have “ wanted” her to be like actually loving and caring towards him ig cuz I don’t believe she was at all, from the spoilers I’ve read she treated him very badly if that makes sense
Yeah he's keeping her around like a quill or flower for decoration like he said, most bad husbands from these type of stories flaunt their cheating but its not insinuated in this story...oh and when the countess told mc that he was still a chid on the inside it made sense for his immaturity but that he's keeping the mistress like a literal replacement for a caring mom
Okay its hinted multiple times...but I think the arrogant emperor hasn't slept with the mistress? she gets easily mad when her brother keeps asking if she's pregnant and then the emperor seems like he tries to but can't, he sniffed her but then walked away? and then on the night of his marriage all he did was sleep by her side. Yes he has major mommy issues and its creepy he keeps a mistress that looks just like his mom but maybe he doesn't do anything sexual because she also wasn't able to get pregnant all this time? He keeps her since he has a savior complex and couldn't save his mom or whatever but also he wants a mommy replica? ew I know. I could be very wrong though
