No it's not (at least it's not the Jinx on this site).
There's also a pair of side characters (one who looks like a kid) who r immortal watching what happens. This string of misfortunes curse has existed since their previous lives/reincarnations. I think one of them was like a shaman's child and the accidentally touched a cursed object?
