my best guess is that he probably did, romantically that is. not to the same extend with seonwoo, but yuri’s cousin was someone to rely on considering he didn’t have too much support when he was younger.

My opinion on this is that since his cousin was the one to show him love and affection when no one else did. He might have confused familial love for romantic love.
