I think the title litterally idicates that this shit was supposed to happen, so no i dont believe the author just did it for "success" but that ut was relevant for the plot since it is known pretty early on that smth happend to the mc
It was forever known that Jinhyuk was protective because something happened and Yeonwoo's anxiety was always something that's hard to have unless you went through something traumatic. If you're gonna read, at least read properly...
