Don't kill me..just thinking out loud

This story is so interesting because you have to blur your sense of right and wrong to truly enjoy it. You need to embrace hypocrisy (?) to some extent, lol. The obsession with the looks of a 5-year old child is just wrong. Then the exploitation of the said looks by an adult caretaker. Even when he asks her if she's okay with some things you start to understand how wrong all of it is. She is a child, he has to explain it so that she can consent. But she can't really consent because she is too young to grasp it all.
It is a wholesome story constructed around the idea of adults obsessively fetishizing (not sure if this is the right term) a child's looks.
Now I stuff all this in the back of my head and enjoy the story because I want to see the wholesomeness. I want to see a little girl who has an adult who cares about them. A father daughter relationship, lol. Like I said, it is quite hypocritical of me.

Ooohhh this just broke my suspension of belief lmaoooo you're right though, this story is highly unrealistic with how wholesome and pure everything is portrayed but ehhhhh that's not why we're reading this anyway. We're here for the good vibes and reality often isn't so, gotta get rid of thinking deeply when reading this. Personally though, I won't call it hypocritical but rather just too idealized. The father loves the daughter and wants her to realize how pretty and loved she is. The viewers only watch for the sense of comfort and cuteness. No maliciousness. No evil. Ahhh I want a world like that.
