Ch. 1 To be frank, FMC just acquired a skill through sheer silly luck. And ik it's a common occurrence in this kind of trope, but it's almost impossible to think that she, an F-class awakened person–the kind with the lowest ranked abilities–, somehow managed to pierce the vulnerable part of an SS-class (emphasis here) monster with a C-grade sword.? I could maybe sweep it aside if she acquired help from higher ranked people to defeat the monster (E.g., Son Mo-ah) or her skill has some secret use that could be really handy in the most dire situations (E.g., Han Yoojin), but that's not really what happened. A bit of struggle here and there, and she defeated the imposing SS-class monster.
Ch. 4 As the man stated to FMC, she can't enter without a higher ranked companion bc the law was revised a year ago. Of course, she forgoes the rules and entered the dungeon nonetheless bc yk, girlie is betting her whole money on there lmao and what else could she do to put food on her table tmrrw. What I couldn't forgot was the fact she was let off easily in the aftermath of her expedition. The lack of punishment, scoldings, or a bit consequence to not following the safety regulations baffled me.
Final thoughts: The advent of another new modern dungeon-themed story w a FEMALE MC certainly did piqued my interest, given that there are still few FMC action genre manhwas compared to the ones w a Male MC. What I also found this story nice is that there is an explained source of this dungeon phenomenon at the very beginning, and it makes sense somewhat. Characters are so-so, but we're only at the beginning of the series so maybe they might become interesting eventually. FMC's designs is cute but it didn't really strike me enough to like it. The only trait I found her interesting is that she seems to excel well on athletics as shown in her days at school w her best friend.
For now, I'll leave this story alone and come back when the chapters pile enough for me to read and assess again if it'll be worth reading.
