The plot is a bit closer to The Villain’s Face-Slapping Counterattack. The MC quick transmigrates and has same hubby every time. I have a few on my reading list like that I like them so long as there is an end game (which this one looks like it has). Sometimes you gotta quit while you're ahead so it doesn't get repetitive/boring. This ML is far more pathetic in the others the host gets to stay with hubby until death or voluntary withdrawal
I mean... Cmmd was made based on the numerous novels of the genre... which in turn are based on the usual clichés the chinese like... so yeah you will find a lot of similarities in the general plot/settings. But I still prefer them over the normal (not world-hopping) ones. They tend to feel... draggy.
Besides, you find all sorts of mcs there... there's both male and female ml, both with romance and without, some with same partner (soul), some with different ones, gl and bl (you even find some where mc is the top and not the bottom)...
But I do recommend going for the novels. Comics are good to have a better image of the characters and clothing style, but when they get adapted from the novels they tend to feel choppy, jumpy or erratic. Like they jumped making the storyboard and went direct to the comic.
Novel updates is a good place to search for it...
You're right I read the novel for this l. It was an interesting and there were elements I have nit seen before (ie. Why she signed up/the consequences of them fucking with her memory).
The plot is similar to Cheating men must die but goes much faster and she falls in love all the time (variations of the same guy I suspect). It’s entertaining when you are bored but nothing ground breaking here
