I didn't read that far ahead but she did have a whole ass revenge plan in which she decided to use him (a child) and now he's basically obsessed and not in a healthy way w her in the future.

What you stated here is grooming… she knew his what his weakness is (his mother) and used it to gain his trust. Feelings or no feelings, she still groomed him as part of her revenge plot. The fact that she views him as a tool makes a stronger that she is grooming him. Grooming isn’t just used for sexual exploitation, in this case she used and manipulated him to trigger a rebellion for her revenge. She knew exactly who Dylan is and what he’s capable of in the last life so that’s why he chose and targeted him to achieve her goal

Not all, she went back in time she already knew the history so there is no point in denying what is the easiest way to win and get her revenge. She told the prince straight from the gecko that she wanted him to be the next king and take revenge on the king. Grooming is trying to win his affection, she didn’t needed that what she needed from him is to trust her

What I do remember from the beginning of the manhwa is her saying she needed to tame him and get him on her side while he’s young… if that’s not grooming than idk what is

It’s on ch39, also in the beginning of the manga it’s says she wanted him to become the new emperor therefore to start a rebellion against his father meaning she wanted the emperor gone and as his loyal knight she would be able to take him down… Also taming doesn’t mean grooming bruh.. like what is she supposed to do to get on his good side and defeat the emperor

Grooming implies that her intention was for him to like her romantically. While yes, he did end up liking her romantically, it has never been stated or implied that this was her intention. She wanted him to trust her so that she could use him as a tool, which isn't a good thing, but definitely not grooming.

Oh wait, I didn't realize you weren't the original poster. The original creator of this thread definitely implied grooming in the romantic sense.

Then my question to you is why are you so bothered? It's not supposed to be a happy cheerful story, she spent hundreds of years suffering, and then came back numb with little to no empathy for others. In that sense, it would be very easy for her to use people as tools, because she doesnt see any value in them, aside from how they can aide her in her revenge, to begin with. Her goal was to bring the whole empire to ruin, all the people would suffer, not just the imperial family. That's what I like about her though, she's grown since then, she's begun to value and care for people, and she no longer cares solely about revenge and herself. Of course, she still cares about destroying the magic tower, but she no longer wishes to bring everyone down with them.

I do however, hope her and the ML don't have a good ending. They're both a little fucked up in the head, and tbh having a dark story with a happy ending just seems flawed, especially considering how the author keeps making the "destined to kill eachother" such a big deal
