What to do in a similar situation? Go to the police I guess? _ this is surreal. The victim should have marks on his body to show to the police. It is strange to me every time they show bullying scenarios in comics no one in the classroom think about calling the cops or going to the police ? The young protagonists turn to the school authority but their complaints are brushed off that's so frustrating ! (I guess the authors have a point to make about the failures of some schools in handling those matters that's sobering and heartbreaking.) I would pay a detective to collect info about the bully and then decide on the path to take to neutralize that crazy snake! Wait... Do private detective only exist in fiction?

The answer is to tell your parents first, they love us and will take care of the situation. The protagonist (at least at this point in the story) hasnt gone to them.
Some countries if not most, have safe lines in case the victim is not willing to open up to the people close to them.
The teacher in the story is a disgusting human trash. Because i'm a teacher myself and if i would have noticed even someting i'd have support the victim with all i have and involve the correct people to help with the situation. But i think the culture might play a big rol on this kind of situations.
