A little spoiler: no romantic relationships occur! (Besides a side one but they break up at the end I think). There is lots of love, but it’s familial love and no pining unless you really want to read things that way. Then just don’t.
None of the women will ever be visibly head over heels blushing unless you count Uriel but it’s literally just a omg-its-my-favourite-streamer-blorbos thing. To balance it out, most constellations and the other archangel find him annoying.
Kim Dokja is definitely overpowered but not in the one-epic-slice-and-you-die way like most other op protags (YJH is there for that) but like future knowledge kinda thing. He’s actually really pathetic but a smug lucky squid which infuriates most of the constellations.
Plus, you can literally never be so overpowered without some conditions due to probability! It really helps level out the field sometimes.
plus plus ORV is very very meta and I don’t know what you mean by it being the same as every other story because it has cool unique bits like ‘disconnected film theory’ and I think ‘squared circle’ and is referred to a couple times in the novel so it’s not just a one-time thing!
So if you’d just give ORV another chance, I’m sure you’ll love it too!
I thought only Japanese manga could be generic, now I'm affraid I read any Korean non-BL manga and it's about a socially inept freak who moves to a fantasy world where he will be a super powerful hero and have a bunch of women before his feet and blablablabla cliché cliché and all that jazz.
