Well, I think they had a relationship, not a one night stand... just my opinion.. And the guy in the mafia left suddenly without word. So I don't think we know yet how long they were together 6 yrs ago.
It probably was really special for them. Like you would remeber the person preventing you from commiting and you would remember the person you saved. It's not that hard
