Can someone gimme spoilers about how bad is the brother and why he did that to ruby

idk how bad he is but hes like REAL bad. hes obsessed with ruby in a very unhealthy way. (+spoiler for the upcoming arc) he kisses her in the greenhouse while knowing thats theres 4 people watching them from behind. Even after he got caught he still tried to find ways to bring ruby back to her as far as (++spoiler) killing enzo and using the empress's daughter as a hostage so that the empress can help him bring ruby back to her side.. i hate him to death
