i guess so.
Everyone is going to die, some before others. My stepdad is 20 years older than my mom and has some bad heart problems - I love him (I think he is my bio dad too tbh). I know he'll die in the next 5 to 10 years but ENJOY THE TIME YOU HAVE!
I like this series a lot, it doesn't force it to have MC be immortal, it doesn't have the knowing MC is going to die earlier be an everyday saddening thing. When we have pets we sometimes get bummed out randomly at the thought but we still love and cherish them (personally I would save mine over a human any day even if they have shorter lifespans).
The story is so wholesome definitely on my reread list!
