that’s sad. i thought it was mutual at some point cause of how she expressed “like (hyeok mum’s name) and I” cause they were happy as friends which is not the same relationship now for the guys :(
i thought about that too, but considering that inseo's parents are the reference of a couple in love in this comic (like how inseo's parents have the kind of marriage hyeok's parents didn't have), i interpreted that inseo's mother really only feels platonic love for her friend
but that final still got me confused… were their mums really in love? like was it mutual? i understand it was however i feel bad for the dad if that’s the case lol that was a little sad tho why lesbians can’t be happy
