Not adults, and protagonist is not really as physically strong like payback's protagonist, but oh man he is as mentally strong and shares the same 'I just gave up' energy in the beginning. The love interest is as fucked up as payback's one and he consents ! Very veryyyy damn angsty and the relationship is far from being normal but you will crave it as the one in payback

this might seem far from the concept of payback, but in reality is kinda spot on. Protagonist wants to avenge evil people that harmed the kid he was transmigrated into. There he founds the love interest who honestly also looks like a phsyco, and well it's a BL you know what's happening. Both dudes are INTIMIDATING, it's not love at first sight, it gets messy (idk about the angst tho its more of a comedy) and protagonist is incredibly strong both physically and in mind

monochrome rumor is another one that's very popular and it reminds me a lot to payback, but I dropped it long ago since the story just didn't captivated me that much, might not be the same for you so there it is just in case
