Really like the way the author depicted Chika's coming to terms with his feelings. It's a more authentic take than what you would usually see in other BL manga. I also love how Ryo doesn't take any bs and shoots down any of Chika's attempts to wriggle out of confronting their "situationship". He lets Chika know in no uncertain terms that he's serious about him, leaving him no room to doubt his intentions. I think that's a really mature (and healthy) way of "taking the lead" and is 1000x manlier than the typical trash seme that bulldozes their way into their love interest's life, bearing down on them until they give in.
I also really like the seme Ryo's mature character. It's refreshing to see this attractive and confident seme who's not afraid to be vulnerable when it matters. Despite knowing Chika's nature, he laid his feelings bare at great risk of getting his heart broken. We get to see him go through feelings of insecurity, frustration, and even hopelessness like a normal person would when they've put their cards on the table and let the other person have the upper hand. Showing a seme working through complicated feelings just as much as the uke really makes the romance much sweeter. This manga has surprisingly more depth than how it looks on the surface especially with its title being the way it is.
