They can't talk properly because seme refuse to listen... He only listen to his mistress.. everything uke wants to explain something, he would shut him off.. same when he tortured uke until he almost died... Uke tell truth but he never listen since he trust his mistress more than him. That's why uke don't want to waste time explain everything. Seme won't listen.
