I'm one of those that can't help but think "they're cute ! Aww" but I know that you're right on this (btw every one in this manhwa is a jerk that think this is normal).
Anyway, I think you should drop this manhwa, 'cause it's not gonna end the way you want it to, and you'll feel more and more disgusted by it...
It has to do with his background, circumstances make people, and most are not always in the best situations.

Well, background is background, but, if someone kill somebody, even if he has background that explain it, it is a fact that he is a murderer. Because of the background we can maybe forgive him, but he is still a murderer.
Of course, it's an other level here (or not, bullying can conduct to suicide so...), but still, a jerk is a jerk, I can forgive him (and I probably will ╮(￣▽￣)╭ ) with his background story, but the things that he is doing are not good (and in fact, very bad).
When I say fall I mean fall in love hard with the guy he's bullied, and has to make it up to him. I guess I should have made that clear
Just don't mix reality with fantasy because the consequences for bullying in fiction world is different from reality some cases lead to death and extreme case of depression.
