From what I get is that the uke just doesn’t want to lose his family to a relationship. He only has his brother since their parents died and his brother is homophobic and as much as his brother is hateful he really adores him to death as they only had each other. So he sorta conflicted bc he likes the seme but also doesn’t wanna lose his brother.
Also it’s pretty short read it ends with about 48 (?) chapters. As for the latest chapter I sure this whole thing will be resolved soon but I 100% recommend reading. I can see why some are annoyed with the uke but I honestly get his position in this all
