STEM or HUMMS? I'm planning to take Multi media arts as a course in college, so these strands will not be related in my course anyway, but as of now this is all I have. I'm not intrested in math and science and when it comes to politics I get bored easily. But I heard that entrance exams favours stem more, what do I choose for this school year?

to be honest, i have the same idea like this last year and i ended up in STEM, tbh it was confusing and hard at first but i managed to get an honor last week.
It was hard TBH and up until now im regretting that I chose STEM instead of HUMSS since im always a ‘writer, advocate, debate, researcher person’.
I have the same thought as ‘should I go STEM since theres a higher chance of acceptance? or should i go HUMSS since it is my choice?’ in the end I chose STEM because of pressure of my parents and it was hard adjusting.
MY ADVICE IS: choose what you want! dont regret stuffs! you’re choosing a strand so it you can have a better knowledge and experience so u can adjust to the course you’re pursuing EASIER and more confident.
THATS ALL! GOOD LUCK IN SENIOR HIGH!

First of all, congrats to you! And it's inspiring to hear that you're doing great despite that STEM isn't your first choice. Maybe I'd learn to love HUMMS ( I suck at debating, writing essays, and public speaking which are like the core of humms as I've heard) as I'll be studying it this school year, I don't think I'll be surving STEM T^T, I don't want to repeat a year. Thanks again!
Ask me something, anything. I feel like answering questions right now.
