Ik it's rape, but in manga this specific trope where they slowly start getting swepped away is called dub-con too

The term 'Dub-con/Dubious consent' coined by the fanfiction community to make visible the gray areas between rape and consent; for example, in situations where the distribution of power may limit an individual's ability to give meaningful consent to sex. The difference here is that this is very clearly not a gray area since the power dynamics are extremely clear and well everything else (breifly explain it later). It would be different say it was a boss and an employee with a decent relationship already, if the boss asked "would you be okay with sleeping with me" the employee may feel pressured to say yes due to power imbalance. However, they are mentally well, gave a good relationship with their boss and have not been personally pressured. Which makes this somewhat of dubious consent when they say 'yes' or 'no' because thr employee doesnt know whether the boss's intentions were to pressure or fire them if they said no. Even if it would be out of character.

Swepped away? Do you mean they develope a trauma bond and/or stockholm? Not correcting your usage of words here im just confused on what you meant. Victims often have these typical reactions: fight, flight, freeze or fawn. Its not dubious consent if the victim develops bond with the perpetrator and continues intercourse cause the victim is still well a victim. Stockholm is a mental disorder and often in these situations victims are deemed as unable to consent to sexual acts because of how mentally deranged they become in order to protect themselves mentally from their abuser. Also, it doesnt fall under FRIES in general. Im sure this could be seen as dubious if you're confused about the power dynamics between victims and abusers, psychological trauma responses and specificated criteria of consent in these situations. I hope this cleared it up lol
