I agree. I don't understand why the seme are so obsessed with topping that they even go as far as manipulating and emotionally blackmailing the uke. If it apparently feels so great to be the bottom then they should be the one to do it. Kinda lose interest in the story and get pissed later. I also personally dislike the remarks like "you look like you'd be a great bottom" like wtf? It's kinda like ...sexism? No? I'm sure a soft looking guy would love to give and a macho guy would love to recieve as well. Let them do what they wanna do and what they're comfortable with. They mostly do it just for the plot and gets easily repetitive #－.－) I have more to say but I shall stops. ((My personal and very subjective opinion))
I'm not a big fan of making light of emotionl traumas and brushing passed them. it's clear that seme loves the uke, I won't debate that.. but if you love him as much as you claim, why won't you be the receiver instead? knowing full well that he's not comfortable with bottoming, you being part of the reason. Trust and compromise goes both ways in a relationship.. this story could have been much more beautiful, if the uke had been the top for at least their first re-union/make up sex. that was a lost opportunity in my opinion!
