Pretty much. The only thing is that the one who died- isn’t actually confirmed to be the same guy in his dreams. He just assumed that was the case because they look the same.

Wait so, the real guy he meets in his dreams, dies in real life, but an identical looking one suddenly pops up after their death.
But the only difference is that this 2nd one has their mole on their left instead of the right??
So basically, uke really is just acting the role as the immediate replacement of the one who just died?
