IKR. I don't think that all close relationships have to be inherently romantic or sexual. Maybe that's just the asexual in me talking though. Personally I find that platonic relationships can be way stronger than romantic ones. You can love a person without it being romantic or sexual. Friends (soulmates) can even raise children or cohabitate without it being either of those two things.
