i totally get where you’re coming from but maybe that’s due to the overall illustrations of the manhwa to be more grungy and cool toned as a whole?

I don’t believe that honestly. Because then everyone else would have a gray tint but they don’t it’s only characters that are I’m guessing supposed to be black. Like what everyone else said, this artist just hasn’t bothered to learn the undertones of dark skinned people
Is it just me or does the author not know how to draw darker skinned characters they always look sorta grey and I remember seeing an artist talk about how some people draw their darker skinned characters with a gray tint and I’ve noticed that in this story. I also vividly remember reading this story and a new character showed up and he was GREY. Idk if I’m making it up or not but it’s definitely weird
