Exactly OP. I have a theory. I genuinely think that these people feel like they’re morally superior by trying to make others feel bad for consuming media that is made up. Instead of spending that energy on things that actually matter in real life, they rather just say shit on the internet and pretend they’re better than the rest when they’re just as bad. It’s boring and sadly I feel like it’s a result of people having free access to the internet at too young of an age and possibly being chronically online.
