After the covenant was done, why those people (binahs) stay with the MC?

When the covenant was done, those people becomes immortal right? What are benefits for them being with the MC? Is it only because of the forceful admiration for the MC?

    If the mc dies they die too after the covenant is formed. And they have an instinctive attraction/attachment towards the mc when they found them
