I see what you mean, it went from a stalker and his creepy photo collection and a psycho who wants to have power over people to this buuuuut I think the author is just trying to show how these characters became that way through glimpses into their past. it's likely all a build up to them opening up to each other
needing eventually understanding each other and maybe a real relationship forming? Just 2 desperate depressed lonely people no chemistry needed just a future of codependency and toxic vibes ╮(￣▽￣)╭

this story is legit going nowhere. i don’t even remember the main plot of this story. the relationship between cirrus and skylar was always going to happen but it legit seems like it’s coming out of nowhere, there’s no chemistry and nothing at all between them. idek how they even became anything similar to being friends. the only thing this story has going for it anymore is it’s art and that’s it
