Ikr but it can't be helped cuz it's historical setting and in the past women didn't matter neither did their opinions so even if a woman rejected someone it was pretty normal for the man to chase after her (︶︿︶)

The other two guys would be perfectly fine for her so I dunno why duke almond guy is even included. He adds like nothing to this story other than to be annoying. Like how hard is it to accept rejection? I get so annoyed when authors include a character that absolutely will not take being rejected and harasses the FL,, And then have it be like OH YEAH HES A GREAT MALE LEAD. LIKE BRUH WHAT. “He harasses her because he insists on keeping a promise that he made to her when they were liTERALLY FUGGIN PREPUBESCENT so perfect !” Said absolutely no one. I cannot be the only one that thinks its not a very mature view to have a ML do this and it be seen as sexy. Especially for this being an obviously 18+ mature storyline
