I agree ... I hv noticed ppl think fl are "strong" if they r independent CEO kind or a baddie or some badass girl that loud and annoying and rude or a dominating one in the relationship ...this fl is so good I think she's is strong and intelligent and pretty ~
Honestly I think if you see FL as “weak” it might be bc you’re expecting a very typical type of “strong” bamf FL but there are more than one way to show how “strong” a character can be. Chloe, as someone who’s lived with a disability and deemed less than worthy because of it all her life, is very firm in her beliefs and values. She might come off as too kind but she’s shown time and time again that she knows how to handle people like the ML without resorting to something that’s out of character for her. Her dependency on the ML is a result of the period setting and her family’s unfortunate situation, not because she’s too meek to think for herself.
