Right? The fact that he shot, kidnapped, and raped him was so quickly dismissed, it really irritated me because Lee Won was obviously bothered by it (see chapter 56, Lee Won's nightmare). Honestly, I hoped that he would talk with Caesar about it, but no, instead, they had to play a survival game , which I don't think did anything to help him resolve that nightmare.
I feel conflicted about this part as well
Tsar is at fault and indeed I too think that it happened because of his attitude and personality type wrote by author
But I did hope that they will have a healthier relationship somehow by talking about what happened I mean lee got shot and raped and he forgave tsar but I kinda feel sad ,it was not explained in more detail about how lee won processed what happened you know ... If it was shown at least we will have known a bit of why he forgave tsar that easily
The violent depiction of rape and how it was just… glossed over in this really, really threw me off? Idk why people are saying elsewise.
Writing such things into your story doesn’t automatically make it a bad story, but instead how it’s handled and how the author chooses to navigate their characters.
With how graphic it was here, you’d expect more from the MC and actual insight on his psych and mental state, and most importantly, NOT a H.E (happy ending)… but no. It was a stark contrast from how seemingly deep the writing and substance went into the actual mafioso.
I’m ignoring anyone who goes “b-but Caeser was already riddled with red flags!1!1!!!” since that is not the point and does not matter, as the action itself wasn’t what caused this story to go downhill, but how this author chose to handle the ‘aftermath’ (if you can even call it that, as said before, it was glossed over.)
