I was ready to refute but double checked and yup. I see it. While the main stuff look hand drawn, the bg chataracters are full AI. I was about to go buy the raw chapters but like...if the artist uses ai to draw bg, they're definitely using it on the main part too..not giving my money to that.

Hmm.. Honestly, I'm not against using AI as a tool to make an artist's work easier (drawing the background people). I doubt they use AI on the main characters face since it's quite consistent, but it does impact the quality of the manga itself. Do note though, that some mangakas are underpaid in Japan. While it's unfortunate that they resorted to this, I can't blame them if this was the reasoning behind it.

Honestly, if ai was only used as a tool n not some sort of shortcut idm. Im an artist myself and frankly AI art is being spammed consistently in the art site im active on. It's overwhelming and im sick of seeing them everyday. They're being sold too so im just...i don't want to see em anywhere at all...

I checked the original ver., but the children's pr the bg character's face were not distorted there. I dont know where it went wrong, but Something mustve happened during the editing in the scanlating team's hand.

Nah, editing wouldn't do that unless the scanlation team erases a whole panel just to edit words out.

Hm, might've happened when they use AI's help to enhance the quality of the pic (idk why they would go through that process)
Let's just wish the editing team double check it for the other chapters.
