I mean, not really. From the beginning it was indicated that Jooha had been involved in sex trafficking and that there was something very sinister about Pilwon. That it’s all coming to a head like this does make sense because it wouldn’t be easy to bring someone like him down. Think of all the ACTUAL cases where notable figures are only found out after YEARS of doing horrific things to their victims. And the author here evidently wants all the characters to get some form of retribution. Long-winded, sure. But I don’t think it’s a case of milking the story.
oh yeah no I’m not talking about the concept of the plot, I did like this story at first and we’ve seen the theme of sex trafficking in the first arc but I meant more as in the plot keeps going in circle aka shitty guy Pilwon escaping and then scheming against Jooha for three arcs and the mcs nor readers not catching a break from sexual assault
also regarding “the author here evidently wants all the characters to get some form of retribution”, I wish I could think the same as you but without spoiling anything, the ending did not live up to the retribution we deserved unfortunately
this story is what happens when an author wants to milk its success dry despite having a good final already back to the first arc: no more plot ! like someone else said this is a graphic telenovela at this point because of how ridiculous it all is when you think about it
