First its okay to dislikes the characters because of their actions, trauma doesn't justify their bad behaviors BUT I think it still relates (somehow) on the shits they do in the future, THIS IS THE REASON WHY WE FUCKING NEED TO TAKE CARE AND LOVE OUR CHILDREN SO THEY WON'T GROW UP AS A FUCKING ASSHOLE OR CRIMINAL IN THE FUTURE AND WHY MENTAL HEALTH NEEDS TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY.Behavior can be resulted from genetics and environment.
I like how the author write this, the r scene wasn't romanticized I was at the edge of my sit (or bed lol).
I also understand why ahjussy (forgot his name) was bad with communication with children or teens (though he's already a prosecutor his communication skills should somehow been improve, train, or something) because he doesn't have parents (as far as I remember), it's really hard to grow up without role model or someone (an adult specifically) to thought you on how things should work.
I also understand why the mc (I also forgot his name) behaves that way, he grow up without love, care, emotional and physical support from a parents or adult that supposed to take care of him. it was implied that almost everybody around him treated him like shit. He has abandonment issue, trust issue, attachment issue, etc. It was mentioned that his therapy was discontinued because of his shity foster parents, ahjussy should've have given attention on this details like bro you literally work as a prosecutor, you also don't lack money you should have know better (or maybe because of the plot LMAO). This is the only part I don't understand, mc literally has a lot of suicide attempts and ahjussy as an adult and professional didn't even think about his mental health? Didn't question the mc's situation on the foster parents house? His behaviors?
Nevertheless, I'm not condoning mc's crimes (arson, [but the shitty foster family deserve it lol], attempts of sexual assault, and rape) earlier I said trauma contributes to an individual's behavior, and their way of thinking, and decision making BUT IT DOESN'T JUSTIFY THEIR CRIMES AND BAD BEHAVIOR TOWARDS OTHER PEOPLE, ANIMALS, PLANTS, THINGS, WHATEVER.
Overall, as of now I like how the story is going it doesn't focus on smut (PLEASE LET IT STAY THAT WAY) like, I know this is an adult BL but please, I hope the author would focus more on the plot and storyline instead of smut, like okay if they want to write smut BUT PLEASE DON'T MAKE IT EVERY CHAPTER.
