I forgot if it was a mangga or anime. What I remember from it was there's a part where the character had a body double.
But at the end the main character (I think he was a prince) died while fighting enemies. So now, the body double needs to live as the prince.
Not sure if I remember this part right:
But at some point, they meet in a dream or something and the guy who died was able to talk to each other.
Ps. I'm not sure if it was a bl or not, but I'm open to both so it can be either
