I think it’s because the translation is not good, so I think that’s why the dialogue seems off
I mean you could be right. But I just think the author has written an utterly idiotic main character veering on simply being an asshole.
I don’t know if it’s the translation but the dialogue or rather I should say Mc’s thought process doesn’t make any sense nor does it ever seem to make sense. He tends to just make entire scenarios in his head that come across as ridiculous, maybe it’s intrusive thoughts because of this unpredicted situation he finds himself him, but he just seems to lack sense half the time.
