Lynching someone in the first round was a mad play. They really should have tried to tie that vote. I understand that if you don't lynch you're basically 100% missing the werewolf, but the odds are against you if you do lynch. Also, Werewolf isn't like Blood on the Clocktower where sometimes you have to execute depending on which script you play with.
