Ikr and we are fucking 40 chapters in already heck… apparently it’s based on a novel therefore the slow pace but man the only thing that keeps me reading is the gorgeous art but story and pace wise it’s messy. Heck there is no plot other that rape, gang bang some fights random interactions that don’t add to story idk.

Word of guide and awake, not much diferent the shounen with portals like the S hank that I raised and solo leaving (mysterious portals open all arrond earth that takes to another world full of monster if left alone the portals "open" to our side and the monsters go out to stop that humans need to go inside these portals kill the boss there, simultaneously people begin to awaken special powers as well as levels of portals) in these case humans don't have the help of a system, and apparently they awake with their full power leading to a great pain fiscally and mentally most go crazy without the help of a guide people who awake with "tranquizing" powers, they ender their mind and confort them as well as help their minds to adjust to these powers the best explanation is themselves being something like a item with these powers, to use a item you need to be in contact with it, the closer the better and of course you can forcibly activate the item this is the word explanation

now this story specifically is a terror story instead of fantasy, the monsters are scary for real nor the typical fantasy monsters who you can even think about domestication and how they are just the habitants of other planet,
And a much more real representation of how it would be like these S classes with powers way beyond human compression and a constant pain as strong as their powers, and of course how they would react to a thing who can make it better (remember drugs are guides substitutes so you can imagine how good being guided feel) and of course government making human experiments to create more S classes after encountering monsters way stronger than humanity can handle

Now for the characters story blonde was artificially created and haised after humanity encountered this specific monster that scared the government, to kill it, apparently the team that was prepared alongside him and his father died trying to kill it and the government (who didn't want people to know this monster who killed all their top team was still free and alive in this world) to cover it all up they blamed blonde and said he lost control of his powers (I think that for being the strongest and not being affected by the monster mind control he survived but probably had to kill his father and team) as he couldn't find a compatible guide (remember guides enter the awaken mind/soul/powers wherever for the guiding so makes sense that some people would feel uncomfortable and even a repulsive reaction to a not compatible person) it was a believable lie
Blond rebeled after that (for what I understood government ended their efforts to kill the monster as he just showing up once in decades and was not demonstrating to be a immediate treat) he wanted to kill the monster obviously, but I also think he wants to failure and die as he can't die other way, I don't know exacly if the other S class in his guild also have a death wish but they seems to be following him for that, blond is clearly depressed he hates the whole world wants to die and wants to kill everyone in the process (and of course bring down the government that made him) I think a full fight between that much S classes and that monster would destroy the world and that's what he plains to do
BUT they obviously need to be guided in order to not be incapacitated by pain so they took guides like they took drugs too, but blond can't be guided cuz he has a repulsive reaction (what probably hurts the guide, that and the fact they are S classes who like to share and don't care about other humans, probably the effects of developing sociopathy for the situation they are in they must have killed, incapacitated or hurt a lot of guides before MC) when Blond is close to his limit and hunting traces of that monster he end up meeting MC who like him is also not affected by the monster mind control (motive he helps him and point for MC sociopaths tend to empathize with people with similar traits that the sociopath thinks no one else understands) this already picks his interest but them he finds out MC is a Guide, as he was in his limit (and MC was already not any guide) he "uses" MC, and surprise MC is highly compatible with him (is it destiny? I think that MC is immune to the mind control and blond was made to be immune so the same thing that makes blond immune to mind control makes him unable to be guided, and MC who also have this can guide him) this already makes MC hid treasure he had to obtain at any cost, but not just that, MC also was the only one (outside his brother that is like a verming to
to blond so he doesn't even consider him) survive a encounter with this monster (two points for MC, he is already a human being to blond) and the connection guide and guided is made, MC is a powerful guide so no surprise blond is now the closer he will ever feel of a bound and romantic love (the same is true for the others, the connection and desire to protect him is a effect of guiding, that's why they hate being guided, but MC feels more natural and good for them cuz again he is a powerful guide) MC also hates the monster and wants to kill him, and of course there is his brother who he is very dependent and obsessive about and the rest you can guess
MC is also affected by the bound guide-guided, is now without his brother who is sick because of him (apparently his high level guiding wherever his F class brother showed any discomfort was poison to him cuz made him not being able to get used to his powers and dependent of constant guiding) and start to bound with these sociopath pack while is abused by them (I can't count it as rape cuz he did agree and make a contract where he had to guide them, and they do it when their condition get bad, but it is certainly abuse)
Now you know what is happening, and remember this os a horror story (I do think the comic version failed to bring the horror of the novel cuz they chose a desing much closer to the family friendly fantasy version of these world type, so people missed the point, still it is beautiful )
