The Dear Door ending doesn't make sense lmao. They're all supernatural beings and there were no conflicts involving lineage in that story. This one kinda makes sense but I don't get why they would need the kid to be biologically related to the king when they're just going to say she's the queen mother's relative anyways (technically that info was only spread as "rumours"). Plus the whole theme revolving around the comic is that "what makes someone a king is their qualities and a competent king maker" (and they're slowly trying to get rid of the superficial criteria of a ruler with each new generation). I guess the fact that the heir is related is some sort of Plan B if the adoption story isn't accepted by the masses.
I just wish Shin's ego was explored more in this comic. All of his thoughts were only kept to himself, I truly wished to see his thought of "him being a more suitable king" to be argued by someone. It was such an interesting part of his character.
This was one of the best BLs and it’s gone Dear Door on us. There is literally nothing happening and after all the action and drama and high stakes—I wanna see more Shin and Wolfgang finally letting themselves love each other, not nonsense about their boring ass kid and these boring ass side characters.
