I agree, the abandonment issues are such a big problem, and it feels toxic how dependent he is on Gaku (the crow demon ML).
also... I'm unsettled with Gaku actually clearly showing signs of pedophilia (falling in love and kissing him in flashback)
to be more precise, Gaku didn't seem to have intended for the abandonment issues, what I'm saying is that this the MC's current situation and it's really unhealthy for the MC. What's best for him is to actually have possibilities, stability, resilience.

To keep this short And simple
Art is good, smut is good too, everithing else is a mess, the characters, the development, the backstories, the rival, it’s a big fucking mess, this story needed 4 less characters, the demon boy to just being a demon and the protagonist journey to overcome is family and abandonment issue, that’s it.
