Hayato was the best character, I really hated Souma and Noboru.

i can understand noboru and his hatred towards hayato, i mean bc of hayato's actions he suffered bullying to the point of committing suicide not helping that hayato did nothing to help his friend when he was bullied
I'm not shaming hayato tho he was still a kid and not everyone is brave enough to stand up in those kinds of situations
but yeah he wasn't an angel too even if his intentions wasn't aligned with actions
i think noboru did a poor choice with coping mechanism trying to do harm to the person he loved, trying not to be alone with those feelings he carried

and souma, yeah he almost raped him, that was disgusting, he admitted that himself, but still it was hayato's decision to forgive souma for that, even though i think it was mostly bc of his trauma, but it was his decision nonetheless
