Even in the original novel art. He IS NOT ugly instead VER HANDSOME so yeah..Its kind of confusing since he is both handsome in the manwha and novel and the nickname didn't really match him

It's because others don't see him the way we do. We can see his real face but to the characters it's like a distorted immage. The same way the sistem is censuring some of his words, it is also censuring his face. But i suggest to not look up why this is happening because it's a mind blowing spoiler

It's annoying when the MC is always called ugly as a running joke. It's even more annoying because the artist drew Kdj handsomely, so the joke doesn't even make sense to me as a reader. Kdj literally looks like everyone else, just a different physique.
