Saw a spoiler that Ashlot is the ML. DISGUSTING. He raised her. Doesn't matter if she's on her 2nd or nth life, he still raised her from the very start. I was hoping for a wholesome father-daughter relationship and was instead given this... It's like "I'm the child of this house" 2.0

If you think this is disgusting while it's being fiction you are an obsessed weirdo and I pity you. Fictional characters, fictional problems darling. Even 4 year olds learn to separate it from reality.

Actually, I'm fine with Ashuelot being the the ML. Because, in this universe people live for hundreds of years (they seem to be immortal). So, as long as nothing happens until Elizabeth becomes an "adult" everything is fine for me. They might not even have that much of an age gap (in this world). Even though Elizabeth married the prince in her previous life, she didn't seem to have any affection for him in the flashback scenes, so I don't think he'll have any chance this life.

Also, I don't think of Ashuelot as her parent. Guardian, yes. But not parent. She was raised by her parents, enslaved, and then he rescued her. He's definitely protecting her, but that's not the same thing as raising her.

Usually I would think its weird and gross but in this case I think it's different because he isn't treating her like his daughter he is just her savior a supporter anddd there is no romance aspect right now
