I felt that. Like it has all the qualities of a great rofan but just feels lacking something. For me it acks omf and pizaz. Its a average in everything, not overtly funny, or lacks the extra granduer in art, or the mc and ml just lacks that tension ig. But imma finish it cos i love the relationship of the duke and emperor bro #yayforunchaoticroyalfam
Bruh u people are reading too many shitty story where the girl gets reincarnated,rebirthed, grew up and met the love of her life (who ofc needs to be a prince/duke), and started planning how to solve all the disasters in the next ten years all at the first 1-5 chapters.
Regarding their relationship Taking into consideration the timeline of the story, I don't think this two had even been together at least like physically next to esch other and bonded together for a month. So the pacing makes sense.
And if its a bit more slow paced, that also fits, author is introducing a unique concept, its better to let the world be built carefully than jusy have 1 chapter and have every little laws and nuances thrown at you and never be mention again to ho straight to the lalaland of romance
This is dry as my mom's fried chicken. Don't get me wrong, I honestly saw potential since I really liked the jewel concept. And the Fl and Ml are really likeable but there's something about this story that bores the hell out of me. I think the way the story flows just really irks me (Idk I'm a VERY unsure person after all). It progresses annoyingly sloooow. To each their own though. Give it a go :>
