yeah! The emperor turned out to be a much more pitiful character than I thought he would be, it made me seriously sad too ╥﹏╥
Him and Ingrid had such a serious storyline that was crazy to see happening in time with Luana and Legion’s fluffy romcom storyline… I would honestly love to have read a long slow burn about Ingrid and the emperor that probably would’ve been a little toxic and a lot fucked up but with a lot of character development and a happy ending~

I’m not a big fan of the emperor but I gotta give him props for killing all of mc’s family except Ingrid. (Cause they all sucked except Ingrid lol)
I genuinely feel so bad for the emperor and the sister. Like I know the emperor is messed up but he really just wanted love. He was insane but the sacrifice at the end showed he really just loved her. I wish somehow something would’ve worked out, were he would’ve gotten help and become a better person, because he only did it out of love. I don’t know that scene really hurt my heart ╥﹏╥
